Accommodation
The trip programme will involve spending 1 night in Deseret camp, half a day trip to my home town, 1 night in historical city of Nizwa or Coastal city of Sur (the coastal city), and 3 nights in Muscat.  I am currently working with hotels to find the best possible rates. Everyone will stay in the same hotels in Desert Camp and Nizwa/ Sur, however in Muscat I will provide you with 2-3 hotels options (either 3 star hotel at Holliday Inn Muscat, or 4 Stars hotel at Crown Plaza Muscat based on your preference), once I negotiate the best rates possible.

The details of hotels will be updated by 1st week of September

Transportations, Meals & Attractions

We (Trip Team) will arrange all the airport transfers, visits to all the historical sites, entrance fees, and meals for the entire Sloan guests. Once we finalize the best hotels rates, we will share the total costs per person which will cover hotels stays, all excursions, meals, transportations, and entrance fees to attractions (excluding flights). I am currently working out to find local sponsors to share some of the trip costs, so you guys get the best value and most exposure out of this trip.

Trip Registrations & Payment
We (Trip Team) are in the process of setting up a trip website with all the details necessary. For the time being, you need to confirm your participation in the trip no later than 20th Aug 2015 and proceed to purchase your ticket. An official registration with all the different options for hotels accommodation will be opened in September, and payments can be made afterwards via bank transfer.

Dress Code
It is winter time in Oman, well cold to us is 20-25 Celsius, but since we will go to the mountain and spend a night in the dessert, bring blazer/sweater with you. For the most part, you will enjoy the best weather of Oman, in shorts and flip-flops.

You will need to pack a suit for gents and dinner dress for the ladies/partner as we will be honored to be hosted by a special host in his house for dinner (it is a surprise!!).  For the networking session with Omani Business Entrepreneurs from Chambers of Commerce it will be mainly business casual dress code.

We will also visit the iconic Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque. So only for that visit, gents shouldn’t wear shorts below knees, and ladies should wear pants. We will arrange some cool scarfs for the ladies just for this visit on 19th Dec 2015.

Other than that, feel free to wear what you want, as the locals are very warm and friendly, and are used to having tourists around.

Travel Insurance
For a piece of mind, you may wish to purchase a travel insurance to cover up any emergencies. However, rests assure that we shall make every effort to ensure you enjoy a pleasant trip. I am proud to say Oman is the safest country in the Middle East region, and its people enjoy a reputation of warm Arabian hospitably.

Please note that during registration process you will be asked to provide health risk assessments and emergency contacts, in addition to a scanned copy of passports for emergency situations.
